“And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land...”

(Ezekiel 22:30)

This is the call for all men of God to join us on our Lenten journey to grow closer to Christ through prayer, asceticism, and fraternity. We will conquer these goals together as a team and help lead each other to Christ.

Our path to freedom and formation this year will be guided by "Into the Breach" - a 6-week study for Catholic men, based on the Apostolic Exhortation by Bishop Olmsted of Phoenix.

What to expect:

  • We go through the Lenten journey together

  • We take on Lenten commitments

  • We are accountable to each other:

    • we pair up with other men as "accountability partners" to help each other keep our commitments

    • we meet weekly as a group to discuss our challenges and successes

More about "Into the Breach"

Much of our modern culture is beset by misunderstanding and contention about what it means to be a man. Many men receive mixed messages concerning who they are and what their role is. "Into the Breach" contends that men are made for greatness and the true expression of that greatness is to be heroically virtuous—and that Catholic masculinity means to have character marked by goodness and truth, strength and courage, in imitation of Christ. "Into the Breach" is a call to spiritual battle, which urges us to embrace wholeheartedly masculine virtues in a world in crisis. ("Into the Breach" - study website)
